Saltoun Playgroup offers a safe and nurturing environment for the children and their parents/carers in our catchment, and is a support network for these people in our community. We are a unique baby/toddler Stay & Play, self-run group in that we offer all kinds of fun activities for 0-5yrs, such as arts and crafts, storytelling, music making and free play. We also have access to a large outdoor space to take advantage of for play in the natural environment. The group currently meets once a week on Friday mornings 9.30-11.30am in the Fletcher Hall, East Saltoun during term time. The charity trustees are all parents with children who attend the group and we also have regular attending families at every session who help with set up and clear down.

Objectives: The aim of the group is to advance the eduaction and social development of pre-school children with the emphasis on the play experience, so that they take a constructive place in the community and also to advance the education of their parents and other appropriate persons.
