**What the charity does:** Our purposes, as recorded in our constitution, are to promote participation in the amateur sport of cricket through provision of practice and coaching facilities and by the playing of league, cup and friendly cricket matches.

**Objectives:** To advance participation in the amateur sport of cricket throughout the community of Edinburgh regardless of sex, age, disability, ethnicity, national ity, sexual orientation , religion or other beliefs. In furtherance of this, the Club shall enable its Members to play cricket and to participate in appropriate fixtures and competitions. To these ends there shall be provided appropriate practice and coaching facilities. To ensure that where Junior and Youth members are involved, the CricketScotland Child Protection policy (and any future versions of the policy) is implemented
