I report to the charity trustees on my examination of the accounts of the British Fuchsia Society for
the year ended 3 1st October 2025.

As the chariiy tn]stee5 of the Society you are reswnsible for the pr¢patation of the accounts in
accordance with the requirem¢nts of the Charities and I'rustee Investment {ScotlaDd) Act 2005 ('the
2005 Act,). the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 21)06 (as amended}, and the Charities Act
2011 ('the 2011 Act.). You arc satlsfied that your Society is not required by charity law to be audited
and have chos¢n instead to have an independent ex8min&ion.
I rq)ort in respect of my examination of the Society's accounts carried out under section 44(1 Xc) of
the 2005 Act and section 145 of the 2011 Acl. In carrying out my examination I have followed the
requirements of Regulation I l olthe Cl)arities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2(M)6 (as amended)
and all dpplicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under Section 145(5Xb) of the 2011
Acl.

I have compl¢ted my examinthon. I confirni that no m&ters have come to my attention giving me
cause to believe that in any materia] respect:
l. accounting records were not kept as required by section 44(IXa) of the 2005 Act and
Regulation 4 of the ChoritiesAccounts (Scotland) Regulaiions 2(KI6 (&s amended) and section
130ofthe 2011 Act; or
2. the accounts do not accord with those records. and
3. the a¢¢ounts do not comply with the accounting requirements of Regulation 9 of the
Chariiies Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (as amended).
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to
which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the
accounts to k reached.
