The Dorothy and Peter Millar Trust was set up by Deed of Trust dated 17th April 2008 in
memory of Dr Dorothy Millar vthh a vlthv to SUPForts'ng charities simiL4r to those which she
SUPPXJrted during her lifetime. These encompass poverty. education, health. human rights,
community developmenL religion and equalty.
The regular Income of the TnBI camè from individual donations resufting from book
publications. In the year to 31* D￿eMb￿r 2019. the Rev Dr Peter Mlllar paid £100,000 into
the Trust and thes& funds have been profes$K*nally managed in ethical funds with a view to
prodLr¢ing income for the Trust.
There are no designated furKls at present and there 18 no re8erye8 policy.

The charity tnjstees consider that an independent examinatk?n is needed under section
44{11{c} of the Charities and Trustee Investrnent Iscotiand) Act 2005. 11 is my r8sponsibility to
examine the ac¢ounts under section 44(1)l¢l of the Act and to state whether particular
matters have come to my attention.

which glves me reasonable cause to belleve that in any material respect
accounting records have not been kepl in aC￿rdance with secb.on 4411){al of the
Charities and Trustee InVestn￿nts {Scotlandl Act 2005 and Regulation 4 of The
Charities Accounts {Scotlandl Regulations 2006
the accounts do not accord wrth those records
Ihe statement of accounts do not comply with any of the raqulrements of Regulation 8
of The Charf(ies Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006
to which. in my opinion. attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper
understsndlng ollhe accounts to be reached.
