To promote the history of Lossiemouth and it's surrounding area by means of leading heritage walks, supporting talks by local enthusiasts about historical subjects eg geology, witchcraft, commonwealth war graves.

Objectives: The Mission statement of the Heritage Trust shall be 'An action group consisting of community members working together to improve the cultural, historic and economic status of Lossiemouth, through project work and the utilisation of a web site To enable community world wide advertising'. To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Lossiemouth and it's environs without distinction of age, sex, sexuality, political, religious or other opinions by associating with the local Statutory Authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and provide facilties, or assist in the creation of facilties, in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure-time occupation so that their conditions of life may be improved. The expression 'charitable purpose' shall mean a charitable purpose under section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 which is also regarded as a charitable purpose in relation to the applications of the Taxes Acts.'
