The purpose of the club is to provide a space for sports and fitness to the local community of Dumfries and Galloway and provides a space for other Scottish and English clubs to attend events held by the club annually. We provide coaching, equipment and access to water for members who wish to row competitively so they have the skills and abilities to attend regattas as well as attending the weekly training sessions. For those members who are interested only in social rowing we offer a safe space to coach them with the aim of fitness and technique to enjoy the sport both on the water and off the water. Building team relationships, confidence and independence is at the core of all our activities.
