The trustees are directed to hold the trust fund for Royal National Lifeboat Institution ('RNLI') and Scottish Maritime Museum Trust ('SMMT'), the present principal beneficiaries, so long as the said charities provide a trustee, and to pay them the income from their respective shares.

Objectives: The first beneficiary of this sub fund will be the Royal National Lifeboat Institution whom failing the bodies listed in Appendix A in the rising numerical order indicated in that Appendix. To qualify as a beneficiary, the named body must supply a Trustee who will take part in the running of the Trust. This Trustee may be from Head Office or from Branch Level. Failure to supply a Trustee within six months will bar the charity from being a beneficiary and the next beneficiary will take the vacant place under the same conditions. If the end of the list is reached then the income share shall go to the National Museum of Scotland. The first beneficiary of this sub fund will be the Scottish Maritime Museum Irvine whom failing the charities listed in Appendix B in the rising numerical order indicated in that Appendix. To qualify as a beneficiary, the named charity must supply a Trustee who will take part in the running of the Trust. This Trustee may be from Head Office or from Branch Level. Failure to supply a Trustee within six months will bar the body fiom being a beneficiary and the next beneficiary will take the vacant place under the same conditions. If the end of the list is reached then the income share shall go to the National Museum of Scotland.
