**What the charity does:** The company promotes and supports the advancement of community development, education, and the provision of recreational facilities in the Western Isles and in particular in the area of south Lochs for the benefit of the social welfare of the local inhabitants and visitors to the area. Our aim is to safeguard and improve community facilities, taking advantage of opportunities to attract visitors to supplement demand from local residents. The operation of the Revenspoint Centre is key to all of this, including the shop and fuel pumps there, which are run by our wholly owned subsidiary company, Ravenspoint Trading Ltd.

**Objectives:** The Company's objects are to act as a charity for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Community without distinction of political, religious or other opinions by associating with the local authority, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, community development and the provision of recreational facilities within the Community in the interest of improving the conditions of life and advancement of community development for the said inhabitants.
