**What the charity does:** The International Association for the Study of Child Language was founded promote the systematic study of children’s language development, and to foster international and interdisciplinary collaboration in this field. IASCL has close to 700 members from more than 50 countries on six continents. IASCL members study language development from newborns to adolescents, speaking or signing all languages of the world, whether monolingual or multilingual, including typical development and language disorders. IASCL has a governing body that comprises of the IASCL Officers (President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Conference Liaison, and Assistant Secretary), and a board of 15 elected members that participate in the following four committees: the Nominating and Appointing Committee, the Roger Brown Committee, the Early Career Award Committee, and the Travel Award Committee.
