The Group is a charitable, unincorporated assodatbon, and the purposes and administratlon arrangements
are set out in the Conststution.
Charitable Purpose
Tre purtx)se of the Group, as recorded In the Conststution, is to help and support men affected by cancer
and their relatives and friends.

Activities and Achievements
The principal on-going aLtiMty of the group is the weekly 'drop-in' sessions held in the Retirement Centre
every Friday afternoon. These are very well attended by members of the group and supporters. There has
been a marked increase In Interest In the gmup. The committee meets on a regular basis to deal with the
business of the group.
The year under revlew has seen a sustained Interest and membership and the ever-widenbng of the public
profile of the Group. The fourteenth AGM helll on 25
attended by members and the
general publlc. The guest speaker for the evening was

The meM￿r$hIp now totals 77 men and again, we record with 5adne55 the passlng of some members. In
spite of that the Group continues with its t)ositive role in encouraging male can￿r patients and their familles.
Trustee Remuneration and Expenses
The Trustees did not re￿1ve any remuneration or expenses during the ￿riod, other than as disclosed In
the Notes to the R'nancial Statements.
As a result of the suOus of £23,373 for the year, the Group held unrestritted funds of £159,619 at the
year end. The Group's present policy is to continue to try to build reseNes with a view to meeting antlcipated
fijtU￿ costs of adapting and providing a pemanent drop-in centre for beneficiaries of the Group.
The charity will continue to make Grant5 and Donations as in the past.

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT TO THE TRusfEES
I report on the Accounts of the Charity for the year ended 31 December 2024, which are set out on pages
3to5.
Respective responslbllltles of trustees and examiner
The Charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordarKe with the terms of
the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scodand) Att 2005 and the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations
2006. The charity's trustees consider that the audit requirement of Regulation 10 (I) {dl of the Accounts
Regulations does not apply. It Is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under section 44
(l) (cl of the Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of independent examlner's statement
My examination is orried out in accordan￿ with Regulation 11 of the Charities Accounts (Scotland)
Regulations 2006. An examination includes a ￿VIeW of the accounting records kept by the charity and a
compa￿50n of the accounts presented with those records. It also indudes a consideration of any unusual
items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeks explanatlons from the trustees concerning any such matters.
The procedures undertaken do not provide all the e￿den￿ that would be required in an a￿lt, and
consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.
Independent Examinerfs Statement
In the course of my examination, no matter has come to my attention.
whlch gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respett the requ1￿ments..
to keep accountlng records In accordan￿ with 5ettion 44 (1) (a) of the 2005 Act and Regulation
4 of the 2006 Accwnts Regulab'on5, and
to p￿pare accounts which accord wbth the accounting records and comply with Regulab'on 9 of
2006 Accounts Regulation
have not been met, or
to whlch, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of
the accounts to be reached.
