Based in Hamilton South Lanarkshire, the Trust caters for local youngsters but membership is not geographically restricted. The Scottish index of Multiple Deprivation (SIMD) 2006 identified specific issues in the South Lanarkshire area and the Trust firmly believes that a community focused sports club enables us to address some of the issues through the medium of football. We believe that by incorporating life skills and a healthy attitude to physical activity in the accessible community setting, we can go some way to addressing the issues identified.

Objectives: 1. To provide top quality, accessible and exciting physical sporting activity, educational and environmental opportunities at all participation level 2. To use the name of Hamilton Academical F.C. to develop and promote activities to benefit the community. 3. The expenses of creating and administering the trust, and any tax payable in relation to the trust, shall be met in priority to all other payments and transfers of assets out of the trust property
