**What the charity does:** The charity was set up to purchase an area of woodland adjacent to the village of Dunning to be owned as a community asset, to preserve it and to be managed for the benefit of the community.

**Objectives:** The Trust has been established with the following purposes: 4.1 To consider and, with the approval of members, provide support for developments which are of benefit to the community now or in the future. 4.2 To manage community land &#x27;Kincladie Wood&#x27; and associated assets for the benefit of the community and the public in general as part of the protection and sustainable development of Scotland&#x27;s natural environment. 4.3 To advance the education of the public in the management of woodland and environmental protection, conservation, rehabilitation and improvement. 4.4 To advance the education of the public in the understanding of woodland flora and fauna. 4.5 To protect, conserve, rehabilitate and improve the woodland for public benefit. 4.6 To advance the education of the community about the woodland&#x27;s environment, culture and history.
