We have a committee of volunteers that works with appointed project leaders to deliver one-off events as well as weekly and monthly groups of benefit to our members, their families and the wider Edinburgh community. We charge a small fee from members to attend most groups to help pay for costs of running the groups. Certain projects like our Little Muslim school employ staff who are paid real living wage. funds are collected from fees from pupils. We endeavour to include elements of furthering the education of our members and their families through our events by including a talk or discussion in the groups. Our Youth groups, including Homework Club, include time for the youth to discuss issues that affect them and get advice from youth leaders. We aim to have PVG checks for all volunteers and make volunteers aware of our code of conduct and safeguarding policies.
