Gairloch, Kinloehewe & Torridon Free Church of Scotland is a congregation of the Free Church of Scotland
working tQW•Tds the common aims sel out below. It is a Presbyteri•n ¢hureh adhering in its worship and
doctrine to the position of the Church of Scotland at the Reforniation. The Free Church of S¢otland an
expltuJatory documcntwhich cxplains thc origin5 of thc Church, and which gives the historical ba¢k8round
to the Church coming into bcing in 1843 at]d lists documents in wbich 15 cmbodicd thc constitution of th¢

Church is the conduct of public worship and associated matters in ihe conlcxl of local congre8alions.

The congregation is within Sky¢ & Wester Ross Presbytery and is authorised by the Church to have

Revlew of our Achlevement and Perform•nce
The congregation continued io meet weekly on Sunday for public worship in Gairloch at I lam and 5pm,
in Kinlochewe every 2nd and 4th Sunday at 2.30pm and in Torridon Hall every 3rd and 5th Sunday at
2.30ptn. Provision for Primary School agcd childrcn wa8 madc with È Sunday Club mccting duting the
morning service, Served by a group of 3 adults on a rota basis.
Throughout the year weekly prayer meetings were held in trM)th Gairloch and Kinloehewe, as well as
monthly men's Bible sNdies.
Thc congrcgation continued its cornmitment to support the national Free Church of Scotland. mission
org4ni5atlQll5 and oth¢r charily groups both spiritually and financially.

Trustees and Office Bearer5
The ¢ongrega(ion is gov¢rn¢d and thinistered by el¢rt¢d office bearer5 (all volun*ers) and ils
minister. The Kirk Session, being the minister and elected elders, has resrKTrnsibility for spirits￿1
oversight, while the Deacons, Couti composed of Kirk Session members plus clect¢d de4cons, oversees
finaocial ond properry mattctB. Under Charity Law, the Deacons, Court #re deemed to be the ttustees of
the cOn￿¢Sation as those with responsibility for day ¢0 day management and control. This is distinct
from the role of proixtty {congregaiional) tNstees who are responsible only for holding property in
ttusL

Charities andTrustee tnvestrnent (Scotland) Act 21YJ5 and the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006
(as amended). The ¢hariry trust¢¢s ¢onsideT that the )udit requirement of Regulation 10(] ) (d) of the Accounts
Regulations does not apply. It is my responsibility to eKamin¢ the accounts as requircd under section 44(1)
(c) of the Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
