Forth Valley u3a is for people who want to keep active in mind and body, enjoy socialising, and are no longer in full time employment. FVu3a have members who draw upon their knowledge and experience to teach and learn from each other but there are no qualifications to pass – it is just for pleasure. Learning is its own reward. Our members may join any of the over 70 interest groups, start a new group, attend monthly events such as meetings with an invited speaker, the occasional lunch and quiz along with a variety of cultural and social events throughout the year.

Objectives: the advancement of education and in particular the education of older people and those retired from full time work by all means including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development
