REPORT The trustees of Women Walking With God {"the SCIO") have pleasure in presenting their annual report. Thi5 report covers the year from l June 2024 to 31 May 2025. Legal & CharTtable Status The SCIO was incorporated on 25 August 2016 as a result of a change to SCIO application by SC037904 Women Walking With God Trust. which was a Trust registered as a tharity since 07 March 2007 Principal Address The SCIO'S principal address is 207 Guardwell Crescent. Edinburgh, EH17 75L Trustees The trustees who held office during the period are= Alison Craig Ali50n Smith Allison Whitlie Victoria Olu-Audu Alison Dines Charitable Purposes and Objectives The purposes of the SCIO are to "encourage, inspire and support women of all ages in Scotland develop their experien￿, knOw￿dge and understanding of Christianity" The SCIO'5 objectives are- a. To provide inspiration and affirmation for women in their Christian faith,. b. To enrich and equip women by providing relevant Bible teaching- c. To provide an outlet for women to discover and develop their God-given gifts and potential,. d. To provide a forum for women to meet together for Christian fellowship, encouragement and support. Review of Year After a period of inactivity, with no event having been hosted within the135t few years. the Trustees reached the decision that they should commence steps to wind up the SCIO. As the charity has a credit balance, the decision was made by the trustee5 that they should make a number of Eifts. under clause 31 of the SCIO constitution, to support the work of other organisations with shared objectives. along with partner organi5ations with whom we have worked closely in the past and who have offered sUPPOrt to the 5ClO. Step5 will be taken during the coming year to make those gifts and wind up the SCIO. Reserves The trustees have not adopted a policy to guide the level of reserves. Reserves held at 31 May 2025 were £4870.58131 May 2024.. £5115.07). As the accounts are prepared on a receipts and payment5 basis, not all expenses relating to the relevant accounting period are necessarily reflerted in these accounts. The Trustees aim to break even year on year when all expenses relating to the running of a conference are taken into account. Accounts The Accounts for the year ended 31 May 2025 are attached and form part of this report. Approval by Trustees This report was approved by the trustees on 3 August 2026. The SCIO held no other investments or gifted assets. 2. During the year ended 31 May 2025 none of the trustees received any remuneration from the SCIO. nor did any party receive any consideration from the SCIO for making available the seNices of trustees {2024- nil}. Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner The charivs trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotlandl Act 2005 and the Charities Accounts (Scotlandl Regulations 2006 las amendedl- The charity trustees consider that the audit requirement of Regulation 10111 Idl of the 2(X)6 Accounts Regulations doe5 not apply. It 15 my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under section 4411) Icl of the Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. Ba5iS Ot independent exarninerfs statement My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the 2006 Accounts Regu- latior15. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeks explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not expres5 an audit opinion on the view given bythe accounts.
