**What the charity does:** To encourage and equip Christian women in Scotland to grow and develop in their faith.  We do this mainly through running conferences.

**Objectives:** The SCIO will encourage, inspire and support women of all ages in Scotland develop their experience, knowledge and understanding of Christianity. In furtherance thereof, but not otherwise:  7.1.1 The SCIO's objectives will be:  (a) To provide inspiration and affirmation for women in their Christian faith. (b) To enrich and equip women by providing relevant bible teaching. (c) To provide an outlet for women to discover and develop their God-given gifts and potential. and (d) To provide a forum for women to meet together for Christian fellowship, encouragement and support.
