The charity was set up to raise funds for Bethesda Hospice and Blythswood Care and any other cause which the trustees feel is deserving of their support in the community. The income is generated from the Charity Shop and Laundrette which is run by a paid manager and the rest are volunteers.

Objectives: To assist people in any part of the world who are the victims of war or natural or man made disaster, and the relief of poverty and ill health. The advancement of health and the relief of sickness, disease and human suffering. To promote the interdenominational Christian co-operation on the Island of Lewis in the achievement of the above purposes in so far as it may be charitable.
