Governinby Documenl The Charity Shop is an unincorporated aSSlation, and Ihe purposes and administration arran¥¢inents are sel out in Ilie constilulion. Charitable Purposes Our purposes, as recorded in our conslilulion, are lo raise funds for local and nalional charilable organisalic)ns and voluntary bodies. Activities and Achievements We generated £33,087 in sales of donaled new and usd bFoods, and we raised a further £3,809 in recycled wasle and donalions. This enabled us to make donations of £28,450 to local and national chariiies and voluntary 0upS nominated by our volunteers. Details of the recipienls of the donations are listed al Appendix l io this pOrt. This brings the lotal of donations made to nominated charities and local voluntary groups to £616,100 since Ihe inception of the shop in April 1989. Wc are grateful to all volunteers who give freely of their time lo allow the shop to open to the blic 6 days a week. Trustees, remuneration and expenses The Trustees did nol receive any remuneralion or reimbursemenl ofexpenses duringy the year. Reserves As a result of the deficit of £1.31 I for ihe year, the Chariiy Shop held unrestricted reserves of £17.069 ai ihe year end. These reserves will be used to continue operatingv the shop in Tayport and for dislribution to nominated charities and g)roups.
