At our Annual General Meeting there was a change in roles for the office bearers, Salman Tahir was appointed as Secretary and Kashif Sharif as Chairperson & Ajaz Mohammed as Treasurer at the AGM.
Governing Document Fife Community Sports is a Charitable Unincorporated Association and the Purposes and Administration Arrangements are set out in our Constitution. Charitable Purposes Our purposes, as recorded in our constitution, are the provision of the recreational facilities, or the organization of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primary intended and the advancement of public participation in sport. Activities & Achievements Fife Community Sports provides and creates opportunities for social integration, social gathering, through sports and creating an avenue for young Ethnic minorities to raise issues they face in society, learn how to work as a team player and in a leadership role. In future years the club intends to expand the range of sporting and social activities offered depending on the interests of the members. Working in partnership with Interactive sport. This benefit will be reciprocal with the other Groups learning more about Asian culture and thus help in the integration of BME groups and also help local indigenous people to a better understanding of members in our group and other Asians. Through sports & especially cricket, swimming, badminton and football a large number of ethnic people from an Asian background have got involved in playing for our group. Majority of these people would otherwise not really be able to be involved in competitive sport. There are plans to arrange sports tournaments during season 2026 which will help the group to interact with other sports organizations. Trustee Remuneration and Expenses The trustees did not receive any remuneration or expenses during the year. Reserves The club held reserves of £9,079.88 at the end of the year. These funds will enable us to continue to run sporting events and social activities for the group in 2026. Approved by the Trustees and signed on their behalf. Independent Examiner's Report to the Trustees of Fife Community Sports I report on the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31st December 2025 which are set out on page 3 Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006. The charity trustees consider that the audit requirement of Regulation 10(1) (d) of the Accounts Regulations does not apply. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under section 44(1) (c) of the Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of independent examiner's statement My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeks explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts. Independent examiner's statement In the course of my examination, no matter has come to my attention 1 which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements: to keep accounting records in accordance with Section 44(1) (a) of the 2005 Act and Regulation 4 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations, and to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with Regulation 9 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations have not been mei, or 2. to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of Ai:oounis io De reacnea.
