To provide similar child centred support to other projects in the UK and
other countries as these are identified.

We support children in Sri Lanka and Nepal through education.
We support the prowsion of medic81 and humanitarian care in Sri Lanka.

Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achlevements of The charity has rnaintalned Its activities in Sri Lanka
the charlty during the flnanclal period
The charity continues to provide for orphans in Sri Lanka via the
Manacare project.
We maintained our support of Sister Mihiri of the sacred heart convent in
Galle and her work with Tsunami orphans and in the women's pris1￿ in
Bhoosa.
The charity also has provided for education81 and health support for street
children in Kandy, providing funds for the employment of educational and
support staff.
The Charity Supports an Orphanage in Nepal through The Child
Protection Soclety Nepal provldlng funds for educatlon of the 0￿hans.
In Scotland we have supported the work of Craighalbert Centre in
Cumbernauld providing practical and emotlonal support to chtldren with
special need8.

Where practlcable the charity a5ms to spend funds raised qulckly although
occaslonally our balance wlll rlse In order to ralse suffiuent funds to meet
outlay on a larger project.
The charity does not have nor intends to have any overdraft at any lime.

Although there was a defictt In the year, the charity still has sufficient cash
reserves to cover it.
Donated facllltle5 and servlces (If any) The trustees donale their time and some minor cost items such as
stationery when necessary.
Accountancy services have been donated In the past by BJM.
