The Band perfomied at the Remembrance Day Parade Brechin. Brechin Pa8eant, Ed2ell Gala Day, Fetterc31rn Show and Stonehaven Highland Game5. Thts year the Band were out Competi forthe first time in rnany years and errtered the plping compelldon at DollarAcaJemy, British Championthlps at Forr4 the Scott15h Champlon5hips at Durnbarton. the European OJamixon5hips at Perth. the Workl Champh1p5 at Glasgow Green, and the Pftlochry Highland Games. The impro¥d with every cornpedtlon and won 3 pla In the Grdde 48 group at the Pitknthry Hi8hlaNI Games. For many of the BarKI It was thw first time playing in competitions. The Band renewed the subsrription to Ensemble (pipe band score editorl tyTime Studios whKh continued to greatly a5slst band members, both tKY4Ke aml exwknced. to practice from home. Flnancial Review The barKI hall was fOrnJtety badly fknoded durln8 Stomi Babet at the end of 2023 and as a sUIt we have had ts ieminate tht lease of the haH. Slnce then. we have hEld ekty practKes and bingo fundroisers at the Parkvlew Bowfin8 aub. As a result of the Ik)od, we received an insuran payout for flood damaged items and also recelved donatiorffj frrm Band supporter> We weceived a Brant from Angus Council after storni Babet ts alknw u5 to buy new tal and choir& These have not as yet been PUTchased a5 we don't currentty have our own band hall. We received rnembershlp subsuiptions and the waed$ of the annual Solos Competition as well a5 from stsll's we have held at theVarI(n events we have attended. We a8ain have benefitted from 4 chath exemptknn from water Rtes this year fDr the time we re uslng the pipe barKI hall. No ttre expenses Ire paid duri the year.
