**Purposes:** 'the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage'

**What the charity does:** At Parents Inclusion Network, our main focus is to bring parents and carers who support a disabled child together, to support each other. We connect families in similar situations and localities and enable them to set up their own ‘support network’. We organise informal get-togethers for members across Dumfries and Galloway. These are a great opportunity for members to build new friendships and discuss challenges and issues they are facing. During school breaks, we organise family days where we book a venue for the use of our members and invite the whole family along. These family days are for parents and unpaid carers.

**Objectives:** The organisation’s purposes are: 4.1.1	The promotion of equality and diversity 4.1.2	The relief of those in need by reason of disability 4.1.3	The organisation of recreational activities, with object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the activities are primarily intended
