Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements The band had a constructive year with good progress made in the of the charity during the financial furtherance of objectives by continued competing in RSPBA period competitions and the teaching program continuing to develop. The band continued practices to Craigie High School until closure in June. The band has successfully obtained alternative accommodation The band is maintaining a tuition model and tuition was undertaken for 6 young players and 3 chanter players during the period. The band paid for external tutors to travel to teach. The band continued a very successful recital series with support from local young players. The events are held in Dundee and very well supported with an audience of almost 150 present. In addition the band continued to perform throughout Scotland.

The trustees meet regularly to review the financial position of the charity. The charity will normally maintain 6 months reserves at the end of the financial year. When there is major expenditure required for instruments this will increase. |
