**What the charity does:** The Charity exists to encourage educational, leisure and creative pursuits for those retired from full time work.  It does this principally through specific interest groups, each organised by a volunteer leader, of which there were 29 during the 2023-24 financial year.  In addition there is a monthly meeting open to all members at which a guest speaker makes a presentation on a topic of interest, and an annual outing.  A monthly newsletter is circulated to all members, and a website and Facebook page provide up to date information on current activities.  At 30 September 2024 there were 266 members.

**Beneficiaries:** 'Older People'

**Objectives:** the advancement of education and in particular the education of older people and those retired from full time work by all means including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development
