**What the charity does:** We nag the local authority to maintain the Park to an adequate standard, we host events to get more people in the park and for longer periods of time. We are always on the lookout for funding opportunities to improve the facilities within the park.

**Objectives:** (a) To promote the preservation, maintenance and improvement of Baxter Park for the benefit of the public by associating the local authorities and inhabitants in a common effort to provide such facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the objects of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants.  (b) To promote the conservation of the natural plant, animal and bird life in the park.  (c) To advance the education of the public in the history and natural history of the park.  The Association shall be non-party in politics and non-sectarian in religion.
