To provide a nutritious 3 course lunch for the over 70’s in the Aberfeldy and surrounding area twice a week. To prevent loneliness and isolation & encourage friendships. To reduce food poverty and help with cost of living. To work with outside agencies to provide support and advice to our members. To arrange small activities to help members’ mental capacity. To raise funds to support the work of the lunch club. To raise awareness of the lunch club in the community.
Beneficiaries: 'Older People','People with disabilities or health problems'
Objectives: To promote the benefit of older people in Highland Perthshire (hereinafter called 'the Area') without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, by associating older people, residents, voluntary organisations and the Local Authority in a community based partnership to advance education and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for education, health, recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
