To advance and promote the education of the general public, and in particular the inhabitants of Moulin and Pitlochry in Perthshire, in the heritage, history and culture of the locality, by associating with voluntary organisations, local authorities and other bodies, together with the local communities and those associated therewith, in a common effort to create, maintain, develop and promote a museum and/or a centre for local history, family history and genealogy.
