Dunfennline Junior Chorus Notes to Accounts As this was our 20 Annivew year certain Expendi￿re streams were higher than previous years e.g. Postage, Marketing, S(Kial, Fundraising however Income received fron] son]e of these sources (Fundraisin Merchandise, Ticket Sales) balanced these out partially. A Grant of £1500 was received from National Lottery which funded some of the expenditure for the 20 Anniversary ConcerL We were also fortunate to be able to purchase a new electric piano with a Grant from the Carnegie Trust.

We continue to have around choristers rehearsing Week￿ in schcKd term& Perforniances in the communty included: Music Makerstook part in a Civic Ceremony atthe Glen Members of Junior and Senior choirs sang at the swtch on of the Christmas lights Choristers sang at the Gaia Concert of local children's choirs at the Alhambra Choristers sang at the opening of proceedings of the Carnewe Business Awards We received a grant of £15CX) from the Nat￿al Lottery as well as £250 from Ihe Dunfemline Rotary Club. The Allistor Trust, a local charty. gave us £6(Xl. Friends of Dunfermline Junmy chonjs donated a total of over £1,4(MJ and we thank many c￿Xa1 memb￿8 wh) are Friends and give generously. We claimed GrftAKI of over£2.1M) and the Christmas raffle was. as always. verywe supwted by Friends a￿tr Famity. As a result of our succes%tul furKlraising we are to maintain our fees to choristers at ￿ same vd as last year, in spite of increa￿T￿ costs. This is importantto as we knowthal some parents Struggle. Using grants and grfts we have set up a sma]I fund to parents with fees when they have diff￿Ullie$.
