**What the charity does:** As the Trust's objectives are broad the Trustees have opted for a policy of making donations to charitable organisations who the Trustees believe can make significant front line impact as a result of that support.  Currently the primary aims of the charity are to support the Scottish Council of the Scout Association both directly and indirectly through The Donald Searle Outdoor Activities Charitable Company. It is hoped that this support will assist in the growth of the Scout movement.

**Objectives:** The Trustees shall hold the Trust Fund and the income of it to pay and apply the same to or for the benefit of or in furtherance of such purposes, objects or institutions charitable in law and in such proportions and manner as the Trustees shall think fit.
