The above unit is an unincorporated association. It has no written constitution, but operates in
accordance with the Girlguiding policies and procedures published by Girlguiding, the
operating name of the Gulde Association. The Guide Associatlon Is incorporated under a Royal
Charter which glves power to form units across the United Kingdom.
The unit's trustees are the volunteer adult leaders appointed as Leaders in terms of the
GirlguidTng policfes and procedures, and in accordance with the Royal Charter.
Objectives
The charity's aim is to help girls and young women develop their potential to be leaders and
effective citizens by dellver5ng a programme of informal education in accordance wSth the
ethos and principles of GTrlguiding.

During the period the charity provided the programme to the following number of glrls in the

The charify's trustees are responsible for Ihe preparation of the occounts In
occordance wilh Ihe terms of the Charities and Trustee Inveslment
Iscollondl 2CQ5 Acl and the Charities Accounts Iscotlondl Regulatrons
2C(J6. The charity trustees consider Ihal the audit requirement of
Regulation 101 I I Idl of the Account5 Regulations does not apply. It is my
responsibility lo examine Ihe accounts as required under section 4411) Ici
of the Acl and to slate whelher parlicular mafters have come to my
atlenlion.
