**What the charity does:** - To provide facilities for recreation and leisure activities with a view to improving conditions of life  - To promote and protect physical health and active lifestyles  -  To assist young people in Aberdeen and its environs, through leisure, educational and skills  development activities to achieve their full potential in society  - To provide employment opportunities  - To assist young people to make the &#x27;transition&#x27; from childhood to adulthood, avoiding the many pitfalls  associated with alcohol, substance abuse and crime.

**Objectives:** To provide, in the interests of social welfare, facilities for recreation and other leisure time activities available to the public at large with a view to improving their conditions of life.  To promote and protect the welfare and physical health of people living in the vicinity of the facilities operated by the company, and to assist in the relief of ill health and the provision of health education for such people.  To help young people in Aberdeen and its environs (without distinction, on the grounds of race, colour, religious beliefs, sexuality, nationality, ethnic origin, gender, disability, age or responsibility or responsibility for dependants) through leisure time and educational activities, to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities so that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society by giving young people opportunities for enjoyable and constructive leisure time. enabling young people to find new interests and to form effective relationships with other people. and encouraging them to organise and conduct these activities for themselves, thus learning to accept and handle responsibility.  To advance education, particularly in the fields of music and the arts. To relieve unemployment for the public benefit in such ways as may be thought fit, including assistance to find employment. To promote, establish, operate and/or support other projects and initiatives of a charitable nature.
