Our charity is set up to manage and maintain the community hall on the Isle of Raasay for the benefit of local residents and visitors. The hall provides a safe, welcoming and accessible space where people can meet, take part in social, cultural and recreational activities, and access services that support island life. We do this by maintaining the building and its facilities, making the hall available for community events, clubs, meetings, celebrations and learning opportunities, and working with local groups and individuals to encourage participation and reduce isolation. Through the provision of this shared space, the hall helps strengthen community connections, supports wellbeing, and contributes to the social sustainability of Raasay.

Objectives: To promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of Raasay and its environs without distinction of sex, sexuality, political, religious or other opinions by associating the local statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities, or assist in the provision of facilities in the interest of social welfare, for recreation and other leisure-time occupation so that their conditions of life may be improved.
