Plateau Perspectives works to advance sustainable community development and conservation in mountain regions worldwide as an expression of Christ’s love. It does so by empowering local people, responding to community-identified needs, and recognizing them as stewards of their land. The organization focuses on capacity building, supporting participation in conservation initiatives, and fostering income diversification such as ecotourism. It also provides relief assistance when necessary, along with support in health and education. Through these efforts, it seeks to communicate the Christian message through actions and, when appropriate, with educational materials.
