Objectives: For the benefit of such (i) persons whoa re or have been employed in the coal mining industry, (ii) the wives, husbands and dependant relatives of such persons and (iii) the widows, widowers and necessitous relatives of deceased persons who were in their lifetime employed in the mining industry who are by reason of disease, sickness, infirmity, disability or handicap in need of convalescent care.
