The charity aims to promote and maintain areas in and around Lanark for the benefit of local people and visitors. We plant out several areas in Lanark as well as caring for a small community orchard. We work with Clydesdale Community Initiative to plant and care for Lanark railway station as well as growing fruit and vegetables for the Clydesdale Food Bank.

Objectives: (a) to promote floriculture, arborculture and horticulture further benefit of the public generally especially those who live in or visit Lanark, particularly by running competitions which encourage the provision of displays of flowers, shrubs, trees and landscapes in places visible to the public. (b) to advance the education of the public, particularly school children, in all or any subjects concerning floriculture, arboriculture and horticulture. (c) to do all other things as will properly attain the above objects.
