**What the charity does:** To preserve and display the model railway stock of the late James Kennedy of Inverness. The display demonstrates the skills required to hand-build models, and to describe the techniques involved. To this end the Trust has conserved a number of items that were intended as parts for future completed models, which unfortunately we're not completed due to the untimely death of Mr Kennedy.

**Objectives:** To advance education for the public benefit by the preservation and public display in the Highlands of a representative collection of James Kennedy historical models.  In furtherance of the above object but not further or otherwise the Company shall have the following powers:-  (a) To acquire, if so considered appropriate, artefacts, records and information with regard to the said Highland railway.  (b) To arrange exhibitions and generally acquaint, attract and preserve public interest in the Highland railway.
