The Soko Fund was set up to support women's education in Malawi. We do this by providing scholarships for students through our partner universities in Malawi,
Beneficiaries: 'Other defined groups'
Objectives: To provide financial support for post school students in Malawi, normally women, to undertake a course of study, normally of a vocational nature, at an institution of higher education in Malawi. The recipients of such financial support will, in addition to meeting the entry requirements of the course and institution of higher education, have provided evidence of particular hardship which would otherwise prevent them from taking the place.
