The group researches local history, and provides help for people researching their own family history, we do a theme each year research it and do a summer display and are open on Sunday afternoons, we do winter Talks have regular meetings, we do a calendar each year with a local topic and ask public to provide photos.

Objectives: The purpose of the Group is to advance the education of the public concerning the local history of Cunningsburgh and to preserve and protect the heritage and traditions of Cunningsburgh with a view to securing appreciation of said heritage and traditions by means of research, study, recreation or other such means charitable in law.
