## Activities

**Activities:** 'It carries out activities or services itself'

**Purposes:** 'the prevention or relief of poverty','the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage'

**What the charity does:** Help those facing hardship within the Stirling council area. This was initially done with Starter Packs, working alongside Stirling Council. Then we opened up Foodbanks providing crisis food support across the council area and now running 8 foodbanks every week alongside a delivery service for rural and infirm clients. Seeing a need for more than just food in the area, our foodbanks have expanded into hubs to provide support and pulling in other organisations to help our clients. Finally, we have piloted a counselling service in our rural communities.

**Objectives:** The organisation’s purposes are: The relief of poverty. The prevention or relief of suffering and distress caused by poverty through the compassionate provision of food and other practical support and services required by the communities we serve in the Stirling Council area, working in partnership with other regional agencies while maintaining the dignity of our beneficiaries.
