These on reserves funds will be used by the group to further the well-being of cardiac patients within Orkney by enabling the group to purchase any required equipment and to help individuals. Respective the charity’s trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance

OHSG Financial Review 2025-2026

This financial review covers the period from 5" April 2025 to 4" April 2026.

The income for the year amounted to £8088.15 a decrease of £4400.99 on the previous year. During the year we received £2758.58 from funeral donations, £1500 from Orkney Renewables, £1000 from Friends of Stonework Orkney, £100 from the St Magnus Guild, and smaller donations amounting to £231.79. Members contributions for the year amounted to £1761. We also had a fund raising day in Tesco which raised £736.78.

Expenditure for the year amounted to £11829.64 a decrease of £477.33 on the previous year. During the year we donated £500 to CHSS who provide our insurance cover, £7500 to island GP surgeries to purchase cardiac equipment. Members benefits cost £2935.12 and other costs including first aid courses amounted to £894.52 .

For the year we had an operating deficit of £3741.49. Ail our funds are unrestricted and at the 4"" April 2026 Orkney Heart Support Group had funds of £26225.24 .
