1st Dalbeattie Cub Scout Group supports the personal development of children and young people in our community through Scouting activities. We provide a programme that helps them build confidence, learn new skills, work as part of a team, and contribute positively to society. Our volunteers deliver weekly section meetings, outdoor activities, camps, and community projects. Through these activities, young people learn practical skills, leadership, problem-solving, and responsibility in a safe and supportive environment. We follow the values and methods of The Scout Association and ensure all activities are inclusive and open to all.

Objectives: The purpose of Scouting is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities
