Those services are brought into play about 200 times per year across 7 local authority areas. Our first responders are trained and equipped to deal with cardiac arrest, fractures, dislocations and a very wide range of underlying illness and injury.  We enable community events to take place safely, with the organisers confident that prompt assistance will be given wherever it might be needed.  We have recently developed a first-class education and resource centre. It will enhance our volunteers\u2019 training and will enable us to teach life-saving skills to members of the public in ways which are innovative, stimulating and intellectually rewarding.
