To advance the education of the public and in particular the local community in the cultural, historical and natural heritage of the Garioch and its environs. This is achieved by its museum presence and knowledgeable volunteer guides who give tours to groups varying from youth to adult groups. A small staff provide a cafe and cater for events. We also welcome visiting exhibitions.

Objectives: The company's objects are: 2.1.1 to advance the education of the general public, and in particular the local community, in the cultural, historical and natural heritage of the Garioch and its environs through (but not limited to) the operation of Garioch Heritage Centre. and 2.1.2 to advance heritage through (but not limited to) collecting donations of local history and source materials of a diverse nature and making these available to the general public.
