Triangle Under 5s is a charitable unincorporated association. The
charity's objectives and regulations are regulated by the charty's
constitution.
The charity is recognised by HMRC as a Scottish Charity number
SC0135145.
Trustee recruitment and appointment
At the AGM, the members may elect any member as a trustee. The
members can be parentslcarers of children who attend the group, or
interested parties from the community.
Trustees may appoint a new trustee at any time.
Objectives and activities
Charitable purposes
The charity's objective is to provide an inclusive. safe, caring and fun
environment where children aged 2yrs to 5yrs can leam through play
supported by experienced. knowledgeable staff who support their
learning and development. Triangle Under 5s is in partnership with Frfe
Council to provide funded Early Leaming & Care to eligible children,
following the Scottish Govemment Curriculum for Excellence to deliver
high quality leaming experiences and outcomes. The charity is also a
member of Early Years Scotland and encourages strong partnerships
with parents to support each child's educational. social and emotional

in relation to these objects
1. To provide a safe and secure play environment where parents
can engage with the setting to form meaningful relationships
be￿een staff, parents and the children, enriching the children's
learning and development.
2. To encourage charitable activities that encourage parental
involvement with the group

Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements
of the charity during the financial
period
Triangle Under 5s has continued to actively engage with parentslcarers,
Frfe Council, and the local community. Stay and play sessions to
encourage parents and carers to visit the setting have continued to be a
popular activity, with good encouragement and positive feedback from
those who have taken part. Children have enjoyed exploring the local
area with outings, including walks, trips to the park. and visits to the
shops. A very popular visitor was the local police officer who brought
along his van for the children to inspect.
New outdoor equipment has been purchased. including gardening
resour￿$ wth the children having had opportunities to plant seeds and
grow plants and vegetables.
Triangle have again worked with Tesco's Communty Champion who has
visited the setting and provided healthy snacks for the children to ty-
Triangle has a good, strong, staff team with very low staff turnover and
with good relationships with children and parentslcarers.
Fundraising this year has been in the fomi of Ragbag collections.
Financial review
Brief statement of the charity's policy

Fife Council recommends that all partner providers carry reserves that
will cover 3 months running costs and the group's policy is to adhere to
this recommendation.
