**What the charity does:** The Dunbar Community Woodland Group’s principal activities include the management of Lochend Woods to create and maintain a safe and healthy environment for the benefit of the flora and fauna, and the community. To maximise the woodland’s potential for educational and recreational use.  To encourage all users to treat all flora and fauna with respect.

**Objectives:** To manage Loohend Wood (and such other woodland as may become available in the Dunbar area in the future) as a 'Community Woodland', so as to conserve, preserve and protect this woodland for the benefit of the public, and the inhabitants of Dunbar in particular. To conserve, preserve and protect the wildlife, flora and fauna of this woodland Toadv~~cet~~eedumtionoftheafoi~saidye~so~uabouttl~~woodlai~d~tdi~wildlife,flora~~d~u~la. To provide facilities, or assist in the provision of facilities within the woodland, in the interest of social weifare for recreation and other leisure time occupation with a view to improving the aforesaid persons condition of life.
