Restrlcted fund. In 2006 as a very young boy Shine Lyagoba was brought from Uganda to Lcmdon for major heart surgery under the auspices of Charlty of Hope. Two of the Founding Trustees had known hisfamity whlle In Kenya and facllitated the joumey to London. Sincethat tlme, a number of Scots Christians made aware of Shine'5 medical condltton supported Shine In the cost of hls mediclon and sustenance. They a150 SUPPOrted hls mother by pr(widing furbds to meet the further educion fees of Shlne's slblings, thelr father havin8 died in 2017 leaving his family In Impoverished drcumstances. These supporters agreed that forthe better managlng and facllitatlng of Shine's SUPPOrt and that of hls siblings any fvnds given for those purposes be transferred to the Trust. During the year under report the last of such donatlons was TlVed. All such gifts are held bythe Trust under Restricted Funds. Due to such donatlons belng Inadequate to meetthe bl- monthly costs of medication etc, the Trustees agreed to augment these gifts by contlnulng bl- monthly support at the level historically given by these supporters. The Trustees have been communlcatirbg regularly with Shlne'5 MOtr for some time and dearly working towards thls point where the family wlll cease to recelve any further support from the TnJ5t. 2.
