Section C Notes to the Accounts

C1 Nature and purpose of funds (may be stated on All funds of the charity are unrestricted, however funds for the various teams are accounted for separately analysis of funds worksheets) within the club's books. The teams collect subscription fees & training fees which are deposited to the club bank account but remain part of the individual teams fund. Each team uses their funds to purchase kit & equipment, pay for pitch & referee fees, first aid training and coaching along with any other purchase that may relate to their team. There are no restrictions on what the teams use their funds to purchase but they must have enough subscription fees/donations to cover their expenses. There is a non-team specific fund which is used for the purchase of club related expenses i.e preparation of account & audits, fundraising expenses & any other purchases which relate to the club. Teams also fundraise to support additional expenses such as the purcahse of kit & equipment.
