APPENDIX 1 Achievements and performance Summary of the rnaln achievements of the charity durlng the financial period The continulng significant cost of 8nergy1£5.868; 2023124 £7,084,, and 2022123 £6,286) to operate the community centr8 resulted in an operating loss of £872 {2023124 £2,205,. and 2022123 £4,532) for the year. The reducing loss over recent year5 is due to increasing hire charges and where possible reducing maint8nance costs. The constant upkeep of tha community centre requires routine key elements of maintenance and upkeep. whith is dependent on sustainable operating surplus to fund. Financial review Brief 8tateffent of the charitys policy on rwrves Reserves are retain8d to allow the Trusl to meet any ¢￿tre Operati￿al or unexpected maintenance costs to ensure Ihe centre rem8ins open and operational in future years. The Tnjst holds £20.000 in reserve at the end of the year. The Trust routinely rèviews the need for reserves. The Trust also holds £4,874 of Restrict8d Funds for two projects not yet completed.
