**What the charity does:** 3rd Montrose Rainbows are part of Girlguiding, the UK's largest charity for girls and young women which is governed by a Royal Charter.  The Rainbows are for girls aged 4 to 7, and they follow a programme of informal education provided by Girlguiding.  This programme aims to teach the girls about their world and how they can help it, and about helping others, friendship and having fun.

**Objectives:** Promoting the instruction of girls of all classes in the principles of discipline, loyalty and good citizenship.
